Pet care experience
I have adopted two Rhodesian (ridge-less) pups and cared for each from beginning until their 12 year-plus end. Of course, I miss them very much. I am 74 years old and retired from law office work. I am available at all times of day or night. I live with my 77 year old brother and I can come and go as I please. My schedule is open. I do live in an apartment, but I live near a park. I can keep a small or calm dog in my apartment, but active dogs should have more room. I will take your dog to the park.

I never leave a pet alone, so I have no need for a crate. We sleep in the same room, so I am always available to "go out".
