My name is Gemma (Pronounced HEMMA) My father was a vet and as a child would help take care of all different breeds of dogs. I was responsible for walking, feeding, exercising and administering medications if needed to them. Also growing up I took care of neighbor's pets as well as my own. Currently I’m a proud mom of a Tibetan Spaniel/Pomeranian mix fur baby and more recently I've also helped foster dogs at some local shelters. I devote myself fulltime to the needs of our furry friends and look forward to meeting your pet(s)! By hiring me, your pet(s) can remain happy in their own safe and familiar environment while sleeping in their own bed(s) while you're away. This method usually ensures to decrease your pet's stress and/or anxiety during the duration of your absence. Initially I offer a 30 minute to 1 hour meet & greet, where I will meet you and your pet(s) to make sure we are a good fit. At this time your pet(s) will have the opportunity to sniff me and decide for themselves if he/she will trust me to take care of them. They need to know that I will love them and take special care of them while you are away. Also at this time we will discuss the pricing. Pricing is based on number of animals, if pet (s) are walked alone or together, if they simply need to be let out into a fenced yard, if they require medication (add'l conditions may apply). I take pride and honor in providing exceptional loving care to your furry loved ones. I will treat your home as it was my own with the most utmost respect and will ensure you return home to find it in the same condition you left in.

Gemma has been a fantastic, reliable and punctual dog walker for our dog Oakley. We have utilized Gemma's services over the past three years and she has always shown up when we need her. We feel comfortable leaving our dog with her, especially because she is such a great dog mom to her pup Dash. Would highly recommend.
After leaving my 2 1/2 year old trooper at a “doggie hotel “ I was extremely disappointed. I did my research and I found Gemma. Upon meeting Gemma, Trooper took to her immediately. That right there put my mind and heart at ease. I basically hired her on the spot for my upcoming trip. Gemma is the epitome of professionalism and loves what she does. Her passion towards animals is limitless and you can see that in how she plays and cares for your fur baby. While I was away she and I were in contact numerous times during the day with updates and just a friendly note of saying “your baby is doing great” with pictures of how happy he was. Gemma also went out of her way to throw a little birthday party for my little guy. Which blew me away and brought a tear to my eye since I could not be there myself. If you are in the palm beach area and want someone who is priced perfectly, goes above and beyond, true cares and loves your fur baby. I stringently urge you to hire Gemma. I plan on using Gemma anytime I am away and ONLY Gemma. She is an angel for all animals and a blessing and relief for all pet owners.

A typical day
Primarily take your pet(s) walks around your neighborhood for a minimum of 30 min. If requested, 60 minute walks we can visit neighborhood parks like Commons Park.

Availability
I currently work full time and provide flexible hours during 8am and 9pm. If you need later hours it will cost extra but I have very reasonable and affordable rates.
