Hello! I have over 2 years of experience working the the veterinary field as a Veterinary Assistant. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and health. I am no stranger to giving medications/injections for your special needs pets. I am Pet CPR certified and also experienced in giving nail trims (for dogs and cats!) and anal gland expressions. Previous to my time as a Vet Assistant, I worked in the doggy daycare/boarding industry for 3 years. I am currently enrolled at UNCC studying Marketing and Communications**. It is my goal to provide you with the highest quality care for your pet, if I feel I won't be able to meet your request in time, I will always let you know. My animals are not only pets but members of my family, I can ensure that I treat yours like family too! I can't wait to meet you and your pet! If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me! ** Please note that starting August 16th 2019 I will be in class on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 9AM-11AM Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be in class from 8:30AM-2:15PM.

Gemma was amazing. She was able to watch my dog on short notice and she attended to my dogs medical needs and sent me great photo updates as well. We will definitely be using her again. Would highly recommend.
Gemma is amazing! She treats my pets like they are her own. Every time I come home my pets are peaceful, content and well-loved. One cat needs medicine and special attention but I can leave home knowing he is in good hands. She continually sends photos and updates of happy cats so no matter where I am in the world I am still a part of my pets lives. I actually think my two furry boys are starting to look forward to me leaving so Gemma can come play with them. I recommend her highly.
Gemma was very reliable and took great care of Charlie while we were away. I would definitely use her again!
My dogs LOVE Gemma! Gemma has been our dog sitter for two years. She comes to our house to stay the night, to take the dogs on a walk, to spend the day with them, or just to play with them for a while. We have a dog with a heart condition and she makes sure he gets his medicine on time. She sends pictures and promptly answers text messages. Gemma is wonderful with our dogs. She also trims their nails!
