Pet care experience
Hi my name's Gem and I'm here to help care for your furry kids. I have been involved with animals all my life, many would refer to me as Dr. Dolittle. When I was younger I used to be in 4H which introduced to the world of show dogs. From there I became involved in rescue work both through shelters as well as varies breed rescues. Throughout my years I've ran multiple kennels and also pet sat for many great families. Now I'd love to be able to bring my skills to you. At the current moment my son and I have two dogs and a chinchilla. Please get a hold of me so I can help care for your furry family members just like they were one of my own.

Gemma is a fantastic dog walker. During the meet and greet she stayed with our nervous dogs until they were comfortable with her. She has come for a couple dog walks and after each our dogs have been happy and well cared for. She will be our regular dog walker and we can’t recommend her highly enough.
Gemma was great! She was on time and reliable, Norman took to her immediately. I will definitely be using her again!!!

I have no preferences to dog breeds as I've dealt with many different kinds. From working with varies rescues, shelters, dog clubs, as well as other various groups I have had my fair share of interaction with different breeds and feel comfortable around them all. It is important to meet any perspective dog prior to agreeing to sitting for them. This way each party will already have had some interaction and a relationship. I like to know if there are any special needs prior to sitting for a dog as it is important to their care.
A typical day
Depending on the area, we may go to the park for a walk or around the neighborhood. If there is a fenced yard at the clients house we could always go outside and play. I enjoy building a bond with the dogs so this way they enjoy themselves and their time with me.
