Hello! Welcome and thankyou for viewing my profile. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life from huskies to maine coons to rottweilers. I have also cared for a variety of breeds from frenchies, to very large dobermans, cockapoo’s and many others. I am more than happy to cater for big dogs as I have plenty of experience with them. We have regular clients at the moment with Dobermans and Cane Corso’s and have personally hand raised a litter of 10 rottweilers from birth too. With any of your furry friends I normally let them on the couch for a cuddle etc if this is your preference and in the car for any adventures or walking trips, however if you have a personal prefence please let me know :) They will receive my full attention the full time they are in our care. I also have puppy cameras set up around the house, they won’t be left at any point through out their stay here however they are good to capture any cute moments for pictures or when they are asleep through the night with extra security. Our home has a large garden with a 5 foot gated fence surrounding the area so that they can run freely and safely with easy access back into the house. I am an active individual and enjoy long walks to new places with our furry friends. We also now have a large van dedicated to doing walking & boarding full-time. We can offer a collection & drop off service, ensuring your pup will be safe in transit and fully covered. (Please note this must be requested and subject to distance)

This is the 2nd time Daisy and Blue have stayed with Gem & Alan. They we’re so excited to see them both again, they love staying here.
This was my first time taking 'my boys', Chip & Dale, to Gem. As soon as we stepped inside and met Gem, I could tell the boys were going to love it, and I was going to feel at ease while they stayed there for a 'sleepover'. It's just like leaving them with dog-loving best friends in a comfortable family house that also has a fenced-in garden that the boys can wander in and out of. They love getting lots of attention, and it was obvious from the moment we arrived that they would be well looked after and fussed over. I also received some lovely photos of them out for a walk round Milngavie Reservoir. They love getting in the car, so that would have been an extra treat. The boys were full of energy when they got back home and then slept for the rest of the day. A sure sign they'd had a ball!
Gem was amazing with our girl Lola! Lola is a bit reactive with other dogs and nervous around new people so we were a bit worried about how she would be staying in a new place without us for the first time but Gem reassured us that she’s worked with a variety of dogs which made us feel comfortable knowing that she’d know how to work with Lola. She also kept us adequately updated throughout her stay and Lola really seemed to warm up quickly! Will definitely book again!
This was our first time using boarding of any kind, our German shepard is 6 she never leaves out side. So was very sceptical. I cam across Gemmas profile all sounded perfect. Then we messaged abit and I felt completely comfortable from that moment. Nalah had gone spent 5 nights here and has came back her happy bouncy self! You can clearly see how well she's been looked after! I got constant updates and felt no need to message all day as gem made sure I was updated with anything....even got some lovely pics!! We definitely will be using her again. And we are so glad we found her ❤ thanks again x

I have a two bedroom home with a 5 foot fenced garden and tall gate, there are no other animals here. I also own a two bedroom flat around the corner in with a large fenced garden so have something to suit everyone. Primary residence for looking after your pets will be my home with the private garden. Happy for meets before hand to ensure your fluffy friend is at ease and happy. We have lots of extra bedding, toys, treats and much more to make sure they feel right at home from the very beginning. We do ask if boarding with us to supply some home comforts such as one or two toys and maybe a little blanket, this gives them a smell from home.

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements, diets or is particularly large in size. As described I am more than happy to accomodate dogs large or small, this is just so I can assure they are comfortable with larger/smaller feeding bowls and beds etc in advance. I do this full-time however on the odd occasion I may need to jump to the food shop we prefer to know if your dog may bark, howl, scratch at any doors or particularly distructive towards humanly objects (remote controls being a favourite). We are still happy to accomodate this is just so we know to let them having southing dog music left on and toys and treats to keep them entertained
A typical day
I love to take my doggo friends out on adventures to the beach, forest walks and we also have local open fields called ‘Run Free’. Theres are fields that are completely enclosed specially made for dogs inwhich your dog is the only one allowed in at a booked slot time. This gives them an opportunity to run, play, be happy and just be a dog in a safe environment. Aswell as days out they will have free run of our home garden as much as they like, scheduele breaks included and general free play time.
