I’ve had pets my entire life being the main caretaker learning as I go and guided by vets and trainer advise. I have rescued most of the pets I’ve had or fostered them until I could find them a forever home. I understand the patience and gentleness some pets need and am well-versed in pet care and eager to learn more if needed. Friends have trusted and relied on me to take care of their own pets. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and am not afraid of the dirty work! I love all animals and am excited to care for yours as my own. I only work a few days a week and am taking a few classes at the university. So, I have a lot of big gaps in my schedule to fill and will make your pet a priority! I have a cat and dog at home that I love very much. I don’t have a yard so I take my dog out twice daily on long walks to get in some enrichment and help him connect with the environment. My kitty prefers quality one-on-one time. I have learned what their needs are as a cat and dog and also their personality needs. I do a lot of research deciding what behavioral techniques to use and what works for us; patience is key. If I find something is out of my knowledge, learned and lived experience, I am eager to learn from a trusted professional or vet.
