I have an undeniable love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up with a Pomeranian and now I’m a proud dog mom to a beautiful English Cream Retriever, Zoey. I currently live with my Boyfriend, Stephen, in Ocean Beach/Sunset Cliffs areas and we both work from home full-time. On the weekends, we like to stay active between hiking and hitting the dog beach but we’re normally home at most hours during the day. We are very active and like going for runs or walks in the area but also completely content with laying on the couch for hours at a time or playing with Zoey in our fenced in yard. There are tons of dogs in the neighborhood and Zoey loves spending time with all her friends.

Geena and Stephen were 10/10! They made me feel so comfortable leaving my dog. It’s the first time I left my dog with someone other than family and they made me feel so comfortable. They sent updates and detailed texts about our dogs stay. Our dog usually never eats when we’re gone and she surprised us all by eating! That truly shows to me how comfortable our pup was at their home. It’s obvious how much care Stephen took with our dog while we were away. She got daily views of the ocean (what can be better!) Their dog Zoey is a sweetheart. I highly recommend Geena and Stephen to anyone looking to leave their dog. I will absolutely book with them again when we need a pet sitter. Geena was incredible and updated us throughout our pups stay! It was our first time boarding our puppy and we felt beyond comfortable.
My dog was so sad to come home from Geena’s house after staying there for a weekend! Geena provided regular updates with pictures during the stay and was so easy to communicate with. Her dog is so sweet and the perfect play companion and my dog was exhausted from a weekend of playing (in the best way). Looking forward to using her in the future :)

A typical day
Our mornings start with a long 30 min - 1 hour walk along Sunset Cliffs. In between work breaks, we have play time and lots of treats. In the afternoon, we take another long walk around Ocean Beach and spend time at Santa Cruz beach a few times a week.
