I have a lifetime of experience with animals, large and small, from working on my family's ranch growing up; being a pet owner myself for many years; and being a rescue dog advocate. I also have an Agricultural degree from Texas A&M. This education along with my ranching experience gives me a leg up when working with older or special needs animals. Things like knowing how to administer medicine and nurturing a scared or reactive animal. I can do all kinds of house sittings, dog walking, and even yard poop clean-up. I work with dogs of all ages but senior dogs are my passion. I am getting older myself so I certainly can empathize with their challenges. :) I started my part time dog service in Dallas about 12 years ago but have not pursued this vocation in Austin but now that I am approaching semi-retirement I want to spend more time following this passion with dogs. You can rest assured knowing your family members are with a safe and knowledgeable professional who will treat your pups with the same love and compassion I have for my own two senior dogs. I work from home at my other job so I can be flexible with dog walks, etc. during the week but my house sitting services are confined to Friday thru Sunday until I fully retire I currently work about 30 hours a week at my day job but I work from home so I am very flexible with my with dog walks, etc. during the week. My house To care for your pet's in your home I will do a thorough home visit with you to get a good feel of their environment, special needs like medication, exercise requirements and feeding times. I will then develop a checklist that you and I will both agree on. After that, the pets and I will enjoy our time together and send you pictures while you are away to see how much fun we are having! I do not currently allow pets to stay overnight in my home due to having two large senior dogs that require special care. There are two of us caring for them so their is no issue for overnight stays at your place.

Gaylon was an excellent care provider for our pups while I was out of town. He came over to do a meet and greet before hand to get to know the dogs and learn if any additional needs. He was punctual and communicated with me just enough that I felt comfortable with his care. He didn't overwhelm me with questions once I was gone and my dogs were happy and we'll exercised when I returned home.
Gaylon's been very considerate and helpful when walking my two dogs. Very responsive on chat and accommodating to changes in schedule, arrives on time, and provides good feedback on how the dogs did each walk. Definitely would recommend to others!
Gaylon was professional from the initial contact all the way to his departure. We will definitely use him again and highly recommend him!
Gaylon does a great job helping our busy family out by taking our dogs to the vet! He takes Excellent care with both of our shy boys and gives them lots of treats and makes them comfortable!
