I promise to connect with your pet heart to heart and soul to soul. I've had the fortune of living with, fostering and adopting many sweet, as well as challenging, furry friends for my entire life, from Lady -- a German Shepard who was my very first dog, to Octi -- the precocious Basset Hound who would steal my bagels off the kitchen table, to Ashes, a fierce & ferocious cat I loved anyway and cared for through kidney failure, to Archie and Veronica -- the sweetest brother/sister foster kitties whom we ultimately adopted 17 years ago (Archie passed 5 years ago, but our family continues to enjoy Veronica's company today). Your fur baby is more than a pet to me. He or she is a sweet soulful bundle that deserves love, play and care while you're away, and I would be honored to provide that energy and attention to them. I will talk to your dog or kitty, play with them, feed/water/exercise them, and generally lavish them with cuddles and loving words while we're together. I've cultivated these "animal instincts" as a pet adoption volunteer with Canine Connections, pet owner and foster "parent." If your pet(s) are ill, old or have special needs, I will love and care for them anyway. In fact, I have a soft spot for aging dogs and cats and have experience caring for pets with conditions like chronic renal disease, dental issues and arthritis. I even have experience administering supplements, medicine and subcutaneous fluids. My house-sitting experience includes taking care of homes in Danvers, Topsfield and on Magnolia Point in Gloucester. I'm happy to bring in your mail or packages, water your plants/garden and even stay a night or two at your home while you're away.
