LOVE dogs & cats, Caring & Reliable

Pet care experience

I will treat your fur baby like one of my own. And during my drop-ins, I will bring in your mail and take out your trash while you are away, if you would like. Also, to help calm your pet during your absence, (as well as give the appearance someone is home), I like to play music and leave on night-lights. With previous clients, I've even read a bedtime story to the pups just before leaving. As a pet owner myself, I understand the special treatment dogs and cats deserve. A kind heart and gentle voice can help ease their insecurities and develop trust with us humans. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, and even a skunk. As an adult, I have continued to enjoy the companionship of our furry family members. I have experience with dog training during my years of volunteering at SICSA with their pet obedience class and cat care program, which has helped me immensely around unfamiliar animals. I have a flexible schedule and a strong medical background, including CPR certification. My love of photography flows over into my daily life, including taking pictures of all the fur babies I meet. I do share some of the cutest photos with my family and friends. Be prepared to be showered with cute photos of your fur baby when I am around.

Gaye is amazing! She has been watching our Benji for just over one week now and we are so happy (And Benji is too!) that she has chosen to continue her lunchtime visits. Gaye takes so much care when watching Benji, she treats him like her own pet! Every lunchtime she runs with him, feeds him, trains him (uses all of our commands for reinforcement) seriously, she’s the best! We are so happy we found Gaye and couldn’t have picked a more caring and knowledgeable person to help us train and raise our little fur baby!

Gaye did an amazing job taking care of our Annie-cat while we were out of town! We would hire her again in a heartbeat! Annie was dumped about 4 months ago, found in very poor condition, brought to our attention and we adopted her. She still has trust issues. Gaye did such a good job with Annie, checking in on her daily, that not only did she not backslide, but she continued to make progress toward becoming the best kitty she can be. We are so grateful. Of course Gaye took care of Annie's basic needs, but she also went above and beyond catering to what brings this 3yr old tortoiseshell kitty joy and gets her to interact (most especially chasing string and running water...lol). Thank you again, Gaye! Annie loves you!!

Gaye is such a natural with animals. She knows my dogs better than I do and gives them first class treatment! What a relief to know that she is watching over them and monitoring their behavior while I’m away. She really is fabulous. You should give her a try. She’ll exceed your expectations in every way— and make sure your house is in good shape too! Havi and Charlie luv her. ??

Information Gaye J. would like to know about your pet

Although, I am a bit partial to huskies and American short hair cats, I love all animals (a spider isn't an animal, right? If it is, I just lied). The only dog breed that tends to make me a little nervous is rottweilers. But, I'm eager to have your big baby change my mind. I do require a brief meet & greet to ensure a good fit, both for me and your pet.
