Pet care experience
They say I learned to bark and growl before I spoke. Mother raised me along with toy french poodles. We have never lived without animals as part of our household. From birth to departure, I have medicated, treated wounds, trained, and provided for every range of emotional need. I'm sure I receive more love from pets than I could ever give.
Reviews
Gary and Ling kept our dog, Tucker, and it was an awesome experience! He did a great job communicating with us. He sent pictures and videos. He also did well introducing Tucker to the other dogs staying there. I am always nervous about leaving my sweet boy with others but Gary and Ling did not disappoint. Thank you! We will be back!
Excellent !
Jimmy was well taken care of at Gary’s. He got plenty of lap time with Gary’s mother and they made sure he was comfortable and ate his food.
Allli seemed quite happy and content upon returning home from her first away from home stay. We appreciated the photos of her playing with Gary’s dog, and we have rebooked for weekend in May.

Safety, trust & environment
We will respect the obedience expectations and standards that you have set for your pet, or working dog. Ours are allowed on couch and lounge chair, but give way when the master wants to sit. Ours may put front paws, but no more on our bed. They have their own beds as well. We have specific feeding time and routine (for weight control), but this does not preclude milkbone treats during the day. Our dogs go out and come back in as often as they want, knowing they can rely on a human to open the door for them. Ours even get their teeth brushed every night.

Information Gary W. would like to know about your pet
What are it's phobia's, if any? Are there points that your dog does not like being touched or pet? Any and all special needs. Eating and exercise routines. Is your dog an escape artist, digger, fence jumper, leash chewer, and does he/she come when called? What is the "need to go out" signal? Has there been any history of trauma or abuse? Can your dog have treats? Where is their favorite place for rubs? Do they want you to avoid touching their ears or anywhere else? We like to be respectful of their likes/dislikes and space. When do they eat and how much? Does your dog have a routine as to when they like to go potty outside? Do they sleep in a crate or with you? Do they need to be walked or are they a loaf? Do they have any allergies?
A typical day
Walks on our dead end street. Ballwin and Manchester parks are each within one mile. Our dogs play tag with each other daily. Ruger occupies himself chasing chipmunks or squirrels too. On Mondays there is a major BARK FEST, at the big blue trucks that take away our garbage bins. In the house, there often tug of war. Neither of our dogs fetched or retrieves. April did when she was a puppy, but lost interest. I'd like to toss a ball for a dog again.

Availability
My work is at home, and I do not leave the house unattended at any time for any length of time. In the warmer months we have a habit of taking long walks, something our two dogs look forward to. One or two additional along for a walk is no problem.
