Pet care experience
My family are dog lovers and we have a 12-year old female miniature schnauzer that we love dearly and consider to be the baby in the family. My wife and I have grown up around pets and our children have been surrounded with family dogs their whole lives. We've used DogVacay (now Rover) service for the first time for our dog "Pebbles" when we moved to Tampa and went on vacation. Our dog really had a wonderful experience with the host family so we wanted to share the same to others who may be needing a worry-free and a loving home while they are away. We will be sure to give your pup the best care, plenty of activities and lots of attention like we do with ours!

Gary and his family always do a wonderful job with my pets. I was sent photo updates with her looking right at home on the couch. They are wonderful and I highly recommend them.
I can’t say enough great things about this family. They watched our sweet little pup for two nights at the last minute after our initial plans fell through (this saving our mini-vacation). Pixie had a great time with their dog, Strudel, and we were sent several pictures and videos throughout her stay. This was our first time leaving Pixie with a sitter so that gave me a ton of reassurance that she was in great hands! Great space for pups and wonderful, friendly people who took great care of her!

Gary and his wife were great dog surrogate parents! They gave us regular updates on our puppies while we were out of town. Our puppies looked so happy in the pictures that they have sent us! We highly recommend them, and would request their services again if we have to go out of town.

A typical day
We do a lot of fun activities like playing catch, playing tricks, doing zoomies inside or outside and take a lot of good walks in our neighborhood.
