Availability
As I said, half of my work is from home. The other half is flexible, so I can schedule it according to your dog's needs! Otherwise, I do my best to not leave them alone for several hours and only do it if I absolutely have to. I prefer to be with them as much as I can!

This includes favorites toys, favorite times to eat, favorite games to play, favorite places to walk around the neighborhood, any special assistance they require, things to avoid doing, etc. Let me know as much as is necessary!
A typical day
I love walking as much as I love dogs. I have been running/walking on the Loch Raven trails regularly for 10 years, so I know them very well. I'd be happy to bring your dog there (I have a car with enough space for one big dog or two small ones). Otherwise, I'm open to what you think is best for your dog. I absolutely love playing with dogs and would be happy to do so at your house, at my house, or in a public place like a park.

Under my care, your pet will quickly make a new friend! Since half of my work is at home, I'm able to keep your dog company and give them personalized care and affection. I do not like leaving them unattended for several hours, even if they can be alone for a while. Being away from home and from their owners can be hard for them, so I do my best to be with them and give them as much care as possible. If for whatever reason you want me to stay with your dog the entire time, I'm happy to do it since, as I said, I have work I can do from home. Otherwise, some of my work may keep me away from the house for a few hours, but my schedule is very flexible, so whatever works best for your dog, I'm happy to do! I live with my mom who also loves dogs and always makes friends with them when I board them. Most of the time, she is not at home, but if I had to leave for something and your dog doesn't like being alone, it's possible that I can ask her to stay with them while I'm gone. Walking with dogs is one of my favorite activities. It's a great and simple way to bond with them and for the both of us to get some exercise. I also love visiting the Loch Raven trails nearby, so if your dog likes the outdoors, I may just take them there for a little adventure. A little about my experience with animals: For the last five years of my family dog's life I was his primary caretaker. Beyond an endearing pet I had for 16 years, he was a best friend. I walked him 3-4 times a day, played with him, made him special food, and made sure he always had a reason to feel happy and loved. I've also grown up my whole life with cats, one of which was a dear friend who was always by my side as I turned from a boy to an adult. I had the strongest kinship with him among my family members in the house. For the past few years, I've gained lots of experience boarding, house sitting, dog walking, and cat sitting and enjoyed every moment of it. I'll let my reviews speak for me on that! In short, as you see in my title, I can guarantee that I will do my best to give your pets as much as joy as they give me.

Garrett did a great job taking care of Peggy! He gave me frequent updates on how she was doing.
The only downside to hiring Garrett is that we were not away longer so that he could have more time to play with stella! He did such a great job my neighbor mentioned he saw Garrett over here every night at the same time running Stella all around the yard playing hard with her but she barked less for him than for me! In fact he said he barely heard her barking at all which is such a relief when you own an itty bitty pittie. He sent great photos he was incredibly communicative we had wonderful conversations when we met and a little bit by text. The next time I need a sitter for Stella I will absolutely be looking at his availability first. Truly a great experience.
A true dog lover! Gave my little girl lots of walks and TLC. She kind of wanted to leave with him when I got home!
Our dog immediately bonded with Garrett at their first meeting and clearly remembered him almost two months later. During our four-day trip, Garrett provided exceptional care, diligently administering daily eyedrops and comforting our dog through the loud fireworks. He left our home impeccable, even watering our outdoor potted plants.
