Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs and cats all my life. Besides my companions, my experience ranges from at-home pet sitting to veterinary clinics as a kennel assistant. These experiences include training puppies, providing senior care and health services (i.e., administering shots, medications, etc.)

Garett is AWESOME! He sat with Butters for a week. Butters is a therapy/companion Toy Poodle! The house was perfect and they both, Garett and Butters treated me upon my arrival. I asked Garett to watch my pomapoo, Todo, while I was away for a weekend visiting my boyfriend. He did a great job updating me on how Todo was doing, and even sent some pictures of them happy on a walk. Todo is very wary of strangers, especially men, so I was happy that Garett was able to connect with him and even show him a few smiles.

Every person takes care of their pet differently; therefore, I want to understand how you take care of yours—time of feeding, frequency of walks, etc. Saying that, I like to take my dog (Oliver) to the Sutter's Landing dog park; she gets fed twice a day, we go on runs, and she absolutely loves to fetch.

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. I am more than happy to play games and discover new smells around the neighborhood with them. I also live next to a dog park - Sutter's landing - so they can burn off some steam.

I'm currently an animal biology graduate student at the University of California, Davis. Classes, research, and work are online; therefore, my weekly schedule is flexible for routine check-ins and dog walks.
