Pet care experience
I had a dog from my early teen years into my mid-20s, when my buddy Jack passed away at the age of 13. He was a 75 pound introverted Bouvier, and my best friend. I got a lot of experience caring for him during his late years, and I am familiar with the special needs that older dogs can have. I had a great rapport with him because I looked into his eyes and patiently assessed what he was paying attention to so that I could figure out what he was thinking and anticipate his needs when he was otherwise not communicative. Putting pills into peanut butter, cheese, or wetfood was a daily habit, and rarely difficult. I have flexible availability during the week, and available most weekend. I have a long, fenced in yard with a little room to run or just enjoy the sunshine!

Gandhi did an awesome job with Bruno. He went the extra mile and even did some training with him on walks. He also took the time to try to figure out the cause or some of Bruno's anxiety and did some problem solving to address it. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again!
I feel good about Gracey’s stay and would use Ghandi again. He caught on to one of her likes (i didn’t tell him) and accommodated her. I was impressed he noticed.

I was very impressed with Gandhi’s performance especially as this was apparently his first go as a Rover sitter. Gandhi was very well prepared, including writing down all of my dogs basic needs, bathroom schedule, and other essential information on a white board that he has in his living. Very attentive and detailed in his approach, you could definitely tell he wanted to know as much as possible to make sure my dogs stay was a safe and pleasant one. Communication wise, he was great. Daily updates with pictures was a nice bonus. Lastly, was very understanding with a small dilemma I had upon pick up. Would definitely book again and highly recommend his services! Will for sure be a 5 star sitter as long as he is on Rover.

A typical day
I am happy to take your dog to the park 1.5 miles from my house, where we can play, run, walk, meet with other dogs, or just enjoy the weather. With my old dog, sometimes he just wanted someone to hold his chew toys for him while he chewed on it, and I am happy to oblige low-energy dogs with that level of play as well.
