Growing up in Chesapeake, where taking care of animals was always what I was doing, much of the jobs that I had were always around animals. From 2010 to 2012 my job was to take care of the animals that neighboring farms owned. I was held with the responsibility of taking care of many different animals such as dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and others that were on the property. It was not just working with animals however, I was also hired to do many other activity that I thoroughly enjoyed. In 2012, I moved to Richmond in order to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. Since then I have been working as a chef at a local hibachi restaurant, but with an injury that I recently had it made it very hard to continue with this occupation. Throughout the massive change in my life, having my dog and cat has helped me significantly and it also made me realize that I want to have a life where I can help many different animals. I do not have any over the top special skills, but I will genuinely have love and respect for your pets as I would my own. I still work as a chef part time, but only on the weekends.
