We have had dogs and various pets, all our lives (we are closer to retirement age than not). We had a lab that we loved as our family, who we lost Dec. 2019. March 2021 we adopted a pup we fostered who currently is 3 months old. I work from home 4 days a week and work 9 hours a day 3 days a week in Crystal Lake, so I do have time for attention our little friends may need. The family room and kitchen area of our home are confined by a pet gate. We have a deck off the family room that leads to a nice sized fenced in backyard. We live in a quiet small neighborhood outside of the city limits, approximately 5 miles from downtown McHenry as well as approx. 5 miles to downtown Island Lake.
