10/09/22 Hey all! Most of my requests are housesitting at this point so I figured it would be easiest to lay out what you can expect from a booking here. • I will default to spending a majority of the day with your pup(s), they shouldn't be left alone for any more than 4 to 5 hours. • I would prefer to overnight with your dog, don't worry. It's nonsensical to drive back and forth, it's typically much better for the pup, and I cherish the change. •Your booking includes 3 FREE walks, 15 to 20 minutes each. These will occur 6-9am, 12-3pm, 7 6-9pm. If you would like any of the 3 walks to be extended I'm happy to take a reduced rate of $5 for each additional 15 minutes of walking added. This comes out to: $5 for 30 minute walk, $10 for 45 minute walk, $15 for an hour walk If you don't have a backyard/need your dog taken out for a brief 5-10 min potty brake I can do this any time I'm there with them. This doesn't mean that we won't ever go out for longer excursions if I have the time! I would love to and I often do spend more time with them outside on my own accord, but there is a chance my schedule will be too tight to allow me to do so • I will bring my own supplies, including dog bags, towel, and of course food. •On final day/night of booking you can expect any bedding used to be neatly folded and put in location convenient for wash. Bins emptied and liners replaced if they were filled. Everything else in house as you left it. •Rover charges per night. However if the final day of your booking requires that I stay past 10am, I'll ask that you pay for a half day rate. Past 1pm I will ask for a full day/night rate Thanks 12/22/20 -Moved to new apartment, will no longer be taking requests for boarding/daycare as new place does not allow pets. But please do consider me if you ever need a walker. Happy to come by daily or on the off occasion its needed. Don't worry about last minute requests either, will always do what I can :) *A FEW UPDATES* -08/01/2019 *Extended backyard area from 187 sq ft to 365 sq ft, nearly doubling the size by removing divider and working on the previously unkempt area. Although the backyard still generally only serves as an always-accesible spot for the pups to take a quick restroom break, some clients felt it could be a little more open. Viola :) *Will use the Rover Cards from here on out to document walks. Always take pictures from walks but I suppose I don't see any harm in showing off the duration and distance covered day to day here when appropriate for your dog. -04/06/2019 *I've finally got around to permanently changing my extended stay rate to be below that of a single day and night of boarding, as opposed to editing the rate after a client has booked. Maybe the edited price was a fun surprise for people, I'm sorry to be taking that away if this was the case. X) -04/05/2019, because, yes, if I can continue to do this in 100 years, I will :) *We have added a new member to our family. She is a 4 month old red husky that we have given the name Aurora, to give omage to the beautiful lights of her homeland. *Every dog I take here will be featured on on my profile, so long as I've got your permission. You get exlusive pup pics though :) *Free baths/grooming upon request. Maybe this one shouldve been up top, you say? *Read below for added details regarding my care-plan for doggos Walking - I intend to take different routes at a variety of locations each time so that your pup is filled with excitement and curiosity when they go out with me. These walks are always between 30 to 45 minutes I go on hikes often, never without the furry residents here....these are anywhere from 1 or 2 hours. Both the walks and hikes are simply included as part of the stay, free of charge. :) Daycare/Boarding- Your dog won't be bored while boarding IN my home! Bring over their favorite toy or let me know their favorite activites, either way I'll keep them engaged. When it comes to dogs, I consider myself an expert. I've walked and cared for many dogs from an early age, big or small, with a wide range of personalities, so I understand that every dog is unique. I'll take time to get to know what your dog likes, loves, and dislikes. You can rest easy knowing your furry friend is as happy as can be here. Of course, you know your dog best, so let me know about any reasonable needs/wants, and I promise to accomodate. I am not a dog trainer by profession, nor do I wish to be. Dogs comes here to have fun and we simply treat dogs how we do our own. The farthest I'll go with teaching a dog right from wrong is to ignore attention seeking behaviors that are distracting them from enjoying themselves, removing them from those behaviors that are destructive (by distraction and removal of the item they are fixating upon), and encouraging the majority of expression which is just plain cute and wonderful by providing love. I am not here to break your dog into submission, please don't suggest that I do so in any manner.
