Pet care experience
I am a major dog lover and lost my baby Taz (15 year old chihuahua/maltese mix) in 2015. We have since moved to an apartment and I work part-time and like to travel so I have not felt comfortable getting another dog of my own. I live with my husband who is as much a dog lover as I am so your baby would get SO MUCH love and attention. My work schedule varies so I would be mostly accepting dogs on days that I'm off so I could give full time attention to your dog. Breeds I have owned are a Sheltie, a Chihuahua/Maltese mix, and a Chow/Golden retriever mix. I am very comfortable with dogs and would love the opportunity to help care for yours. I would treat him/her as my own!

Gaelyn and Andrew were great sitters. My husband and I were traveling out of state for the holidays which left us feeling anxious about our fur babies. Having them sit our pets in our home was a great experience. They watched after our two dogs and cat with no issues. We received periodic updates with pictures and good communication. Would recommend!
Gaelyn was great! She took great care of Logan for us, is super close by and was very responsive to our messages. She took our pup on walks and sent us some great pics. Will definitely use again in the future.
Having spent the last 13 years of my life with Gaelyn, I have never met someone with more empathy and thoughtful care of animals and people ever! She has a way with animals in particular that is beautiful to watch. If you want your fur baby looked after in a way that fills them with more love than they were left with then you need to let Gaelyn watch them for you. I promise you will not be disappointed. None of our animals ever have been!

My main concern with keeping a dog in our apartment would be potty training and elderly dogs or dogs with joint issues as we live on a third floor apartment accessible only by stairs.
A typical day
We have a fantastic dog park very close to our apartment as well as a big field to run around in or play fetch. I will play with toys, brush/groom, and give lots of pets! If your pup likes to go on adventures we are avid hikers and would very much enjoy a canine companion on our hikes!
