Pet care experience
My family has always had dogs so I don’t remember a time where I wasn’t responsible for an animal. I learned about the responsibility of caring for animals at a very early age through competing on horses. I have managed a horse boarding barn providing basic care and maintenance to the horses. I also worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility over the holidays last year where I learned a bit more about how to properly care for a clients pet. I have experience with assisting senior dogs and providing oral medications.

I have one dog at home with me that I normally bring along for everyday errands. There is a lake with a dock in my neighborhood that I take Marley to often where she can play and swim. I also have a fenced backyard where the dogs can spend time outside playing. Markey doesn’t stay in a crate at night but I have a crate that can be used if needed. Client pups would be allowed to sleep wherever in the house whether that be in the bed or in a crate. They would also be able to go to the dock throughout the day for walks.

Marley does not get crated at night or when left alone so just let me know if you recommend your pup be kenneled when left alone or overnight. I also don’t usually feed table scraps or share food but let me know if your dog has and allergies or food sensitivities.
A typical day
There is a dock and lake in my neighborhood that Marley absolutely loves to go to for exercise. I also do walks around the neighborhood. Some of Marley’s favorite places in Oxford are Sardis or Lamar Park. I also take her to the farm to visit with the horses from time to time.

Availability
I’m currently working part-time so I have lots of free time to care for your fur baby. I work afternoon shifts that are around 4-5 hour shifts. I have a dog that I usually take with me to run errands or go spend time with other pups during the day.
