Hi, I am Gabrielle! I live close to the North Shore in Pittsburgh, where I live with my 3 cats and dog. I have lots of experience with animals; from working at a boarding facility, volunteering at animal shelters and fostering for years! I love caring for animals and making their stay as fun and relaxing as possible. I take pride in hosting one client at a time (multiple pets from the same household allowed!). This ensures the safest environment for your pets and a chance to personalize their stay. Being a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to leave our fur babies. During our meet & greet, I make sure to listen to your pets typical routine so that I can provide a seamless transition to my home environment. As I said before I love individualizing a client's stay, so please let me know if your dog likes to go on hikes, visit dog parks, enjoys swimming, etc. I will try to make it happen!

There are not enough stars or words to describe how I feel about Gabrielle. She is an outstanding caretaker for her animals plus the care she gave my Meiko, while we were on vacation for two weeks. (This was Meiko’s first time being boarded and he’s 17 1/2 years old!) The pictures she took…the text messages I received everyday…she went above and beyond to make my vacation stress free and relaxing, as I did not worry about him at all while we were away. He, her cats and dog developed a great friendship… I know Meiko will love going back, whenever we choose to go away again! ♥️
Gabrielle took care an excellent care of my cat for almost 2 months. She continued to send updates throughout her stay (even though I could not reply every time). Gabrielle’s cats and dog are very friendly and sweet and having their companies worked out very well for my cat. Gabrielle is trustworthy and caring. I will definitely seek her service again in the future.
Gabrielle was amazing!!! My cats loved her! They stayed with her two weeks, and I wondered if they would want to come home. ?? Gabrielle’s house is set up for cats that may need some quiet time to get adjusted, or if the cat wants to roam. She also is amazing with her communication, sending photos and updates daily. I truly can’t say enough and would DEFINITELY recommend her if you want to make sure your furry loved one will have a great place to stay!
Wonderful, kind, good communicator. A true animal lover. Our cat adored her and we never worried. She knows so much about the animals she cares for and forms a true bond with them. She also has a catio, which my cat loved. I can't recommend her enough!

When I am not home, I make sure that my animals are always separated from yours. While my animals are pet friendly, I want to keep a safe environment for everyone. I believe in communicating with parents while their fur baby is staying with me. That means you will get tons of photos of your baby! Animals picked up after 12PM will incur a 50% charge for the day. A late fee will be applied to owners who are late to their pick-up/drop off without giving notice.

Please tell me if your dog/cat is pet friendly, potty trained, destructive, food aggressive, etc. I have dealt with all of the above, so as long as you are open with me, we can work through it!
A typical day
Living in the city means there are so many amazing places to walk! I usually do anywhere from 1-3 miles per day. Just let me know what your dogs needs are. I also bike a lot. I have a pet trailer and love taking a furry friend! One of my favorite weekend hobbies is taking dogs to pet friendly restaurants. What a fun way to socialize and enjoy time out of the house! This is a vacation for your dog too.

Availability
I am a teacher, so I will be away from home during the day. When I am home, you can expect your fur baby to be spending time outside or snuggling on the couch with me. When I do leave my house, your pet will have their own room in my house with a radio, comfy beds, toys and the necessities. Have a cat that enjoys the outdoors?! I have a catio calling their name! It is completely secure to the house so they get to enjoy a lovely breeze while staying safe.
