Pet care experience
For me, there’s just nothing better than getting to work with animals! I currently work on a small farm, where I take care of the farm’s livestock. I’ve always been an animal lover, and hope to be a dog trainer in the future, so becoming a sitter was just a natural decision for me! I have lots of experience working with animals, which I’ll bring to every stay. I have tons of experience with lots of different livestock, from horses to sheep, goats, pigs, birds, and reptiles. I’d be happy to take care of any of these animals as well if you have them! I have also volunteered at local dog shelters in the past, where I helped take care of and walk the dogs there. I also have eight different dogs of my own, which has been an incredible experience in its own right! I do like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on any new clients. It’s a great time for us to get to know each other and to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another. It’s also the perfect opportunity for us to chat about your pup and your expectations for our time together! During the meet, I’ll make sure to approach your dog calmly and respectfully, and let them warm up to me first. I’m sure we’ll become fast friends in no time! I know that every dog is different, so I will always do my best to tailor my care around your dog’s needs. I’ll try to get as much information as I need at the meet to help that process along. During our time together, I’ll always make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well taken care of by doing the things they love the most. I also like to make sure that owners get lots of pictures of us having fun together so they can see just how happy their pup is!

Gabby is the best. Our whole family loves her! She cares for Jake and Emmie Lou like they are her own and they are so excited to spend time with her whenever they can get it.
Gabrielle was awesome! I was super hesitant to leave my dogs with someone I didn't know, as I have never done it before. She came to meet the dogs and they instantly loved her. She was also such a gem when dealing with my anxiety about leaving the dogs. She came to the apartment and went over everything with me twice! She kept me updated, sent photos and made sure that I knew my beasts were well taken care of. Max and Trigger were not the mopey dogs they usually are when I have to go out of town, they were calm, relaxed and happy when I came back. Gabrielle even checked in to make sure that I made it home. She is a great caretaker, attentive, responsible and has a way with dogs. I will be using her again in the future and can recommend her with 100% confidence.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
In the morning, we would go outside for 5-10 minutes potty break before having breakfast. After that, we’d have the whole day to go on more walks, go into the yard for some fetch, or play with toys around the house. Every few hours, we’d make sure to get some good exercise by heading out to some of our favorite places. We would walk around the neighborhood and any trusted parks. We would also go to parks the owner suggests us going to, like dog parks or other play areas! I love to make sure that dogs are happy and healthy when they’re with me, so we’ll spend plenty of time having lots of fun together.
