Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals all my life. I adore animals. I have a passion for working with dogs and any animals that have behavioral issues. I have worked in the animal field as well at a veterinarian office, a grooming facility and I used to work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility! I know animal behavior and animal body language very well and am very good at what I do! Parents rely on me for many different things, some rely on me to come into their house and stay with their animals while they’re away and feed, water, exercise, sometimes give medications and show them love while they’re owners are away. Some parents have me come check in and just drop by to see how their pets are doing throughout the day. Lastly, some parents call on me to take their furry friend on walks while they’re working or busy! I can do it all. Rover is technically my full time “job” although it’s so much more, it’s a passion and I love doing it! I am available all the time for different needs. I can house sit for a client and then also have a couple drop ins scheduled and a few walks. Day or night I am always available for whatever the reason may be! **I am offering “daycare” right now BUT please understand I will take your pet do go do something like walking or hiking or play at the park** I always stay at friends/family or clients homes and take care of their fur babies. I am respectful and responsible and take good care of your home as well as your furry friends! I clean up after myself and usually my clients leave me instructions on what i need to do for their pet and also any info I need on where things are located at in the home as well. I have many clients that can vouch for me and several people that have trusted me to do more than just watch their babies like when they’re away I check their mail and bring it inside for them, retrieve the papers and bring them inside, set the trash out for trash day and simple things like that as well. I have had parents ask me to let house keepers in on specific days and give them their payment and am always trusted with these chores. I am a hard worker and trustworthy and am there to keep your pet safe and keep them company!

Cancelled last minute which really sucked
Gabrielle was amazing with Athena. I was nervous about leaving her with someone but Gabrielle came to our house twice before we left to meet Athena and make sure she was comfortable. Athena loved her so much and we got pictures every day. We will definitely book again
I've had Gabrielle watch our dogs on numerous occasions. She is very reliable, and I recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She loves our dogs and is very affectionate with them. I know our pets are in great hands when she watches them. She is very knowledgeable, and we appreciate her dearly.

I offer in home pet sitting, I will make it look as if I was never there, I clean up after myself and if you prefer I can do laundry before I leave and wash bedding or whatever I used! I will obviously clean up after your pet as well! I can also do anything you need around the house, like water plants or basic cleaning or anything that you would like done while I am there!

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if your pet is a senior and needs extra care or a special needs pet that needs medications or anything extra! I do very well with animals that have medical issues, anxiety issues and any other special issues or even behavioral issues. If your pet is somewhat aggressive or resource guards no worries I know how to deal with that and work with them and am not afraid to still loan a helping hand! I have worked with deaf dogs that know sign language, so as long as you show me the signs I can communicate just fine with them! I have worked with blind animals, senior pets, hurt animals, animals with open wounds, animals that need special attention, I have worked with almost anything and am always willing to learn how to work with your pet! I have given injection meds before but I always will have the owner/client show me how a few times to make sure I am doing it how you would like!
A typical day
This all depends on the pet and their owner! Some of my clients do not like their dogs taken places due to maybe barking or aggression or anxiety so when I have clients like this we still have fun just at home! I will play with them in the yard and throw the ball or their favorite rope toy for them and stimulate them mentally and physically so that they are still getting energy out! I have some clients pets also that are lazier and like to just lounge around which is great with me as well!! My other clients that allow me to take their pets for walks and out and about, we go everywhere! I will take them for hikes (close to town never out of reach), to the park to play, if they like water we go swimming, I love taking the dogs for walks to the farmers market when it is going on or downtown to walk around! We go for car rides and strolls around the neighborhood as well.

Your pet is my priority when you schedule with me! I will stay with your pet majority of the time and only leave to get food or necessities! I love spending time with your fur babies!
