Pet care experience
I've been missing my sweet yellow lab who's living with my parents, so I thought I would give rover a try! I've had many years of dog experience, both with my own family's labs, but also with neighbor's and friend's dogs. I've done it all, from 90+ lbs labs and retrievers, all the way down to 5 lb yorkies. I went to BU, graduated in 2016, and I'm currently living in the South End. I've spent almost 10 years in the city, and an extensive amount of time in Brookline and Cambridge as well, so I know all the best paths and parks. For hosting at my place, I live in a 1-Bedroom hardwood floor apartment in an elevator accessible building (for older dogs who have trouble with stairs). I'm less than a block away from Peter's Park, so there's a potty place just steps outside my door! I'm counting down the days till I can become a pet parent, but I'm hoping to give some other wonderful pups some love in the meantime!

Gabrielle took great care of our Lab! It was raining and muddy out and they still went out for a walk and she even toweled our pup off after! We will definitely be using her again!

Gabrielle loves dogs more than anyone I know. She loves dogs of all shapes and sizes, and always enjoys stopping by the dog park to check out all the cuties playing around near her apartment. In addition, I've never seen a dog that doesn't like her back. She's always more than willing to pet any dog she meets, and the dogs all love it!
Full disclosure,I am Gabrielle’s father. During Gab,s childhood and teen years we always had a dog in the house . Gab walked, fed, and played with our lab. She enjoyed being with the dog and the dog enjoyed being with her. During Gab’s high school years she baby sat for extra money. She was soon in great demand by friends and neighbors. Both baby sitting and pet sitting require similar skills,a caring ,responsible,patient person. Gabrielle is competent,kind and reliable. I have no hesitation in recommending your pet’s care to her. I would like to know if they have any special needs (dietary restrictions, medications, etc). I also need to know their potty training status, any history of aggressive behavior, and what their usual noise level is like. My favorite dogs are usually in the 25+ lb range
A typical day
If you're dog is up for it, I would love to take them out on the esplanade for a jog! I'm an avid runner. If you're dog is more into walking, I'd be taking it through the beautiful streets of historic South End and Back Bay.
