Pet care experience
I have been a licensed veterinary nurse for 6 years, therefore my full-time job is caring for animals! I love pet sitting because I get to meet so many new dogs, all different shapes, sizes and personalities. For me, there’s nothing better than seeing that big happy smile on your dog’s face when I walk through your door. Because of the line of work I’m in, I have direct access to a veterinary hospital in case of an emergency, which I consider a nice perk for pet owners. I can trim nails if needed, I am comfortable medicating, and I am certified in canine and feline CPR! I have experience caring for young, old, healthy and sick patients. I am available all week nights, some week days, and almost every weekend. I really strive to make the most of the time I have with your pet while I’m at your home, and treat them as if they were my own dog. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

No breed preferences here! I love friendly, outgoing dogs with tons of personality, but I’m also great with more timid/shy dogs who need to gain my trust before they can open up. As far as what I need to know, really just what does your dog enjoy? His or her favorite activities, treats, and games..those special spots they just love to have itched!
A typical day
I love taking my dog (8-year-old shepherd mix) to the park where she enjoys walking the trail by the lake. With your permission, I’d be excited to do the same with your dog! Anything to get them outdoors, exercising, and mentally engaged! However if your dog is the type that would rather lounge on the couch and watch tv, I’m down for a good cuddle session too!
