I currently am an Animal Care Tech & Adoption Counselor at the Wisconsin Humane Society. I have experience working in shelters & vet clinics throughout Wisconsin. I can provide your pets with lots of enrichment and physical exercise, as well as medical care or specific accommodations per your request. I have experience in training basic commands through positive reinforcements. I have cared for newborn thru senior animals as well as special needs animals and animals with medical concerns. I am also comfortable with behavior cases and have an extensive history around our friends with special feelings 😇

I am so glad I found Gabby to take care of my cat Suki while I went on vacation for 9 days. Suki has asthma and I knew I needed someone special to give her the asthma inhaler treatments. Gabby wasn't afraid to take this on, especially with her background work at veterinary clinics. Suki warmed up to Gabby and I received pictures and videos of the 2 of them together. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Thank you Gabby!

Gabby was wonderful! In addition to jumping in to help us at the last minute, we had great communication from her with lots of pictures and feedback. We felt so comfortable having her care for our dogs in our home and will definitely have her back. The dogs loved her and we came back to a clean house and happy dogs!

A typical day
Working at numerous animal welfare facilities has given me many unique ideas pertaining to enrichment and mental stimulation for your pets. We will go on walks, play games, and go to any parks nearby. I love going on new adventures and would love to take your furry friends along if you are comfortable! If you have any favorite spots around your neighborhood, I would love to take them to those while you are away as well.

Availability
My full-time job is animal care, which can be unpredictable some days. However, I tend to have availability most mornings and evenings for drop-in visits and walks. For sittings, I will unfortunately not be there full time, but will be able to stop in every 4-8 hours depending on the day.
