It’s been raining cats and dogs (ok, mostly dogs) all my life! My parents were dog breeders so I learned to care for dogs at a young age and they will always be my first loves. I honestly can’t believe a time in my live when I wasn’t surrounded by our adorably amazing furry friends. I’m a diehard dog lover with years of experience rescuing them, but they’ve rescued me right back––teaching me firsthand to be patient, compassionate, and responsible. The first thing people and animals notice about me is my huge heart because I wear it on my sleeve. I have a deep respect and adoration for all living creatures and will do my very best to keep you beloved pet safe, healthy, and happy. Dogs truly are people’s children––not an extension of them. I’m unique because I like to bond with the dogs rather than just having them in my home as part of a job. I am very energetic, adventurous, and crafty so I like to explore, hike, and and be outdoors as much as possible. Your pup’s company would make it just that much better, and I know my dog would love it too! When I am not dog sitting, I do have a dog of my own so my own schedule is determined by Beau’s needs: walks, fetch, dog park. I enjoy going to friendly dog places because Beau is like my best friend. So my day-to-day life consists of taking care of my own dog who I treat more like my child and my hobbies are all dog friendly! There will be a balance of fresh air stuff and staying home watching movies snuggled up on the couch. I love to cook up some delicious recipes as well and stay active––I do make time to get to the gym as much as possible, so adding another pup into my daily mix will be a blessing!
