I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, whether they be cats, dogs, horses, rabbits or others. My mother ran a no-kill animal shelter near our house called Friends of Homeless Animas (FOHA) for over 20 years, where I was first introduced to taking care of animals. Since I was a baby, my family and I have fostered numerous animals, cats, kittens, dogs and puppies of all different ages, sizes and breeds. This has made me very comfortable with caring for any kind of dog, and showed me the kind of responsibility and care one is tasked with when caring for an animal. I have lots of experience with boarding as I adopt out a lot of the foster dogs I care for, and their owners come to me first when needing to board their dog, as they know and trust me and prefer a real person than a kennel.
