Pet care experience
A friendly reminder: Please check your pet's teeth and ears regularly. Infections are common and easy to miss. Simply put, I love dogs and I know dogs. I've been surrounded by them my whole life and I cannot imagine life without them. I always treat pups in my care as if they were my own -- they will be spoiled! I have an understanding of dog psychology and I have taken a behavioral course and countless training courses in the past, however I am not a professional dog trainer nor an animal behaviorist. I've been dog sitting for over 5 years now, so I am more experienced than your average Rover sitter. I've taken care of many dog breeds from American Pit Bulls to Chihuahuas, so I am adaptable and flexible to any requests you may have.

I have a fenced yard and a young dog willing to play all day long. He is very high energy so he will do well with other maniacs (laughing but very serious). Dogs are always supervised and separated if the need arises. I am experienced with escape artists, so if your dog has this talent please give me a heads up.

I will not take care of aggressive dogs under any circumstance. Your dog needs to be socialized and get along wonderfully with other dogs for boarding in my home. Please let me know: if your dog is spayed/neutered, if you give them flea and tick preventative, if they are updated on shots and heartworm medicine, if they do not get along with certain people, if they have negative behaviors or quirks like: digging, exploring trash cans, chewing up cords, jumping on counters, etc. No dog is perfectly behaved all the time, but if yours is then let me know so I can congratulate you hahaha I would like to be well informed so I can be prepared. Honesty is appreciated and valued.
A typical day
If your dog loves long walks then we'll get along great. I can walk your pooch 2-3 times a day. If your pup loves tennis balls, Frisbees, etc. please feel free to bring them. We'll be playing in my fenced yard or inside the home depending on the weather.

Availability
I work from home, so unless I have errands to run (<2 hours), I am always present and supervising your pet. I live with family so if I am out of the house, chances are that someone else will be home.
