My name is Gabby. I'm an experienced dog walker and sitter of over four years. I'm 25 and a freelance writer, who is home full-time, and I can't wait to meet more dogs! I've worked as a professional dog walker for a company, and now I'm ready to try to work independently through Rover. I regularly walk and watch neighborhood dogs here at my home in South Philadelphia home, and am excited to to continue doing what I love. Why I love dog sitting I grew up with two dogs in my house back in New York, and after moving to Philadelphia, I missed having a dog around the house. Currently I live with my adopted dog, Martgaux who is a five-year old rescue, who I love dearly. Self-proclaimed dogophile, before Margaux, I would visit dog-parks, sans dog, just because. We love going on hikes to the Wissahickon and exploring around our Point Breeze neighborhood. Gabby is awesome! She walks my new dog Rocky. She is sweet and responsible, which is important since I am very protective of my new dog. It’s hard to trust someone with your pup and home, but Gabby makes it easy!
Wow! I really couldn't ask for a better dog sitter. So happy to have been connected to Gabby through Rover and so is my pup, Sparkles. Sparkles is a little skittish around new people, but took to Gabby right away. Not only that, but Gabby is prompt, attentive, and very communicative about feeding, walking, etc., to put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Gabby!
Gabby is an excellent pet caretaker!! She has taken great care of our dog and cat when we were out of town on multiple occasions. And her own dog is a well-loved sweetheart! Highly recommended.
Gabby is amazing with dogs.She has helped dog sit a terrier rescue Margaux. Who is a little anxious but works so well with her and is patient and loving. Has worked with her and has helped her grow out of her shell. Is very responsible with her from dog parks to taking her on Sunday hikes.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I currently live in the Point Breeze area. I love taking dogs to the park (it's right across the street!). There's many sticks around, and I love playing catch, or going on small runs around the neighborhood. Your dog's sleeping arrangement There's plenty of space in our two-bedroom, three level house. We allow dogs on all our couches.
