Hi! My name is Gabriel and I would love to watch your dog! I absolutely love dogs but was never lucky enough to have one of my own. I found ways to be around dogs - I started sitting for neighbors and friends, and I realized how easily I bond to them and connect with them. I love spending time with animals - they’re wonderful companions to have. I always ensure your fur baby receives the best care by putting 100% of my time and energy into being with them. They’ll always be happy when they are with me, so when you are out of town, they’ll feel like they’re in their home away from home. I’m friendly, consistent, and reliable, so you can always rest assured that your doggie companion will have fun and get lots of love. I don’t just love dogs; I love all animals! Gabriel helps me out tremendously when it comes to taking care of my dog Pepper. Pepper gets so excited whenever Gabriel takes care of her. He plays with her until she finally taps out which could actually take quite a while. He is very patient and attentive for sure. He would walk her, feed her, and make sure that she was more than comfortable when I wasn’t around. I’m more than happy knowing that my dog is with someone I could trust. He finds comfort in making sure pets feel at home and feel safe. I know Pepper is more than excited to see Gabriel really soon! 10 out of 10 hands down!
Gabriel was a terrific dog sitter for my Doberman, Max. Doberman's can be difficult and it takes a real expert to bond with and manage them and Gabriel passed with flying colors. He was reliable, kept my house neat and tidy when he stayed, took care of his walks and his food, and even made chicken and rice for the few days Max was ill and on medication. Max clearly loves him and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I’d like to see how your dog reacts in your home so that I can get a sense for if they’re territorial. If you’re okay with it, I’d like to offer them a treat so you can used to my presence, but I’ll be sure to step back if they’re anxious or stressed out. Once they get used to me, I’ll be able to come into your home to take them on a walk without there being any problems. I like to stay active, so please let me know how much exercise your dog needs. I don’t want to overdo it if they’re older or smaller, but if they’re young and hyperactive, then I’ll make sure it gets plenty of work-outs. I live in an extremely dog-friendly neighborhood, so I’d want to know how your pup interacts with other animals. I’m very cognizant of dog’s and people’s needs, but want as much information on your animal as possible so that they feel safe and relaxed when they’re with me.
A typical day
We’ll start the day with going on a walk or run, and then after taking a breakfast break, we’ll either relax inside or head on another walk, depending on your preference. After evening dinner, we’ll go out again! I love to exercise and welcome the chance to be out and about as much as possible. If your furry friend gets tired on any of these walks, we’ll head in and relax. Long Island City has many lovely trails that are within walking distance of my home. Because my neighborhood is so pedestrian-friendly, I’m able to complete all errands by walking, so your dog will always get to come with me. They’ll never be bored when they’re with me and they’ll always be my #1 priority. I’m so excited to spend time with your doggie son or daughter!
