I have owned or lived with pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) since I was a child and have always loved interacting with and understanding animals. I always do my best to take into account what is best for my pets and those I have sit in the past, ensuring they are comfortable especially when in an unfamiliar environment. I am flexible in my ability to take care of pets of all demeanors, allowing the time and space necessary for pets to get familiar with me and their space before introducing any potentially overwhelming stimuli such as unwanted attention or activity. I am on a constant lookout for any signals (ear/tail/eye movement, panting, whining, etc.) that may be a pets way of communicating what they want or need. Basically, I love making pets feel comfortable. With all this being said, I also understand the stress of a pet owner when leaving a member of their family with someone they too may not be familiar with. I am always communicative and receptive of instruction provided by an owner, as they would know better than I what makes their pet’s tail wag. I am currently job hunting with an ample amount of free time to make sure your pet gets my undivided attention and everything they need to stay happy and healthy. I have a fenced in yard and deck area for your pet to spend plenty of time running around, sun bathing, or munching on a stick. Inside, they are welcome to lounge around on the furniture, bed, or wherever they feel comfortable. I keep my house clean and tidy with nothing out and about for a pet to get into. I live with my girlfriend (a fellow pet lover) alone in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood with plenty of pets around for them to interact with.
