I grew up in a home with dogs as well as being a long time pet owner of both dogs and cats. Previously I ran a successful pet sitting business for 7 years in another location prior to moving to Manassas. I have been trusted with caring for many pets, and over the last several years gained extensive training with dog behavior (think Cesar Millan aka The Dog Whisperer and Leader Of The Pack) and can offer complete care from puppies thru elders. Also a massage therapist I can soothe sore or tender spots upon request. My philosophy is to recreate your pet's routine within your home environment where he/she is most comfortable without stress while you are at work or away. When pet owners go away on vacation most pets do not enjoy being boarded in a foreign environment, and there is always a small chance your pet could pick up kennel cough when you return. In home pet sitting is a great alternative to maintain your pet's well being. Your pet will be well adjusted and happy to see you when you return. Dog walks, playtime, socializing, addressing bad habits, giving medication or anything else you need I can take care of during my visit. I offer discounts for servicing 2nd pet at same time including overnight stays so please contact me in advance to confirm rates and to set up an in person meet and greet. If you have cats to be considered I can professionally care for them as well and will clean litter box, etc. during my visit. Also I can tend to house plants, mail newspaper and deliveries, turn lights on/off accordingly all to make your home looked "lived in and occupied" and to give the appearance you are not on vacation. House sitting rates includes overnight stays from 9PM - 8:30AM with evening + morning drop in visits and/or walks PLUS 1 visit during the day approximately 2 to 3PM. For a schedule adding 2 visits during the day add $15. For non overnight customers- recommend 3 visits daily combination of drop in visits + dog walking as needed. Early morning, mid afternoon and late evening schedule usually works very well for most dogs. For dog walking- typically anywhere from 10AM - 4PM depending on your schedule. Exceptions include an evening walk while you attend an event, morning walk for early risers, weekend walk while away for the day, etc. just let me know.
