I grew up with cats and various rodents (that I love very much), but have always wanted a dog as well. I love getting to care for and meet so many adorable pups and cats through Rover, before I take the full leap and adopt a herd of my own. When I am back home in Maryland I volunteer with an organization that rescues cats and dogs and facilitates their adoption called Partnership for Animal Welfare. I pick up dogs from the kennels where they are staying and handle them during dog adoption shows. I have dealt with a variety of dogs, large and small, easy going and more difficult. I love all animals and have had such great time watching cats and dogs through Rover. It's a lot more fun and fulfilling than my 'day job' and a great pick-me-up. I care for every animal like it is my own and would love to look after yours!
