I have a B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, and I have been taking care of dogs and other pets for over 10 years. If you have horses or livestock, I can look after them as well. I've been around horses my whole life, and I have a degree and experience in livestock production. While I was a student, I worked at the VT Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist during emergency hours. I dealt with a variety of emergency cases and helped clients determine the type of care their pet needed, with the help of on-call veterinarians. In 2014, I worked for a pet sitting company, where I did overnight and day visits with dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I also took a Veterinary Technician course in high school, where I learned grooming techniques, how to administer shots, Heimlich maneuver for dogs, etc.
