Since I was a freshman in high school, I have always loved pets, along with caring for them. I have casually trained my dogs to where they know how to ask for water and rollover/sit for treats. When is comes to experience with caring for dogs, I believe I had the funnest experience a teenager could have asked for in a job. During this past summer, I found a job where I was dog sitting at a doggy hotel/ daycare. This was my most loved job, as I got to spend several hours out of my day, pretty much everyday, just taking care of dogs, that ranged from puppies to older dogs who needed a little bit of help. The doggy hotel had this HUGE backyard where we could have the dogs for potty, play, or on a nice day, just chilling time. If it were to ever rain, or it got too hot/ cold, there was a whole house dedicated for the dogs so that they didn't have to endure the harsh weathers. I would take care of at least 20-30 dogs everyday from 6 in the morning until bedtime which was usually around 9 or 10 at night. Also, what really sets me apart is that I have cared for a pet hedgehog that lived to about 6 years old. Caring for a hedgehog is quite needy as I played with him everyday and had to clean his cage twice a week, so I am accustomed to a high maintenance animal.
