Aside from being apart of a variety of different breeds’ lives, I have come to understand the love for animals through the eyes of how they love us! The walking service Wag! in which I have and still occasionally work for has allowed me to meet an assortment of different personalities. In that experience, overcoming obstacles such as shyness or aggression gave me a lot of perspective on how to approach each furry friend differently with his or her own psychological needs. Similar to us! But as I formed the bond I was able to gain respect from him or her and not out of fear. Wag! was a good teaching mechanism as well as a foot in the door to gain new insight and appreciation for “man’s best friend”. I hope to have the same opportunity with your family friend as well.
