Pet care experience
I am an animal science and biology student at Purdue taking the semester off, so I am fully available during weekdays and weekends! I could do stop-by dog and house-sitting and also can do schedules walks. We have giant breed mastiff mixes at my home as well as a new standard ppodle puppy who I will be training to be my service dog for my return to school. ? I have helped raise and care for all of these dogs from 8 weeks old and onward. I have grown up with dogs and other animals and have no qualms with any species or size so long as they are non-aggressive toward new people (if you have other animals in the home, I have no issues caring for them either, as I am experienced with reptiles and exotics). I am an excellent student (3.63/4.0 GPA), pre-admitted to Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine, live near downtown Indianapolis, very available and flexible with schedules, am comfortable administering medication when given each pet's specific needs, great with all animals, and am simply trying to raise money for my service dog and his training.

I can work with many dog personalities, whether they are exuberant and hyperactive or shy and slow-moving. I would only request that dogs be at least moderately well-behaved in that they are not going to be physically aggressive toward me (jumping out of excitement is fine, but lunging and snapping are not). My family owns large breed (100+lbs) mastiff mixes, so size is not intimidating to me. Please let me know the likes and dislikes of the dog beforehand (ie what does he/she enjoy doing, to what personality does the dog respond best, etc.). I am also comfortable providing any medical care necessary for the dog so long as there is adequate instruction so I can be sure to give your babies the proper care they deserve!
A typical day
I adore playing fetch, tug, keep away, or any other physically and mentally stimulating games with dogs! In my experience with our giant breeds at home, dogs who are exhausted from playing so much during the day are more than happy to be calm and rest for the rest of the afternoon/evening without getting into any trouble!
