Pet care experience
I love a dogs love! I have always had dogs and took care of dogs, rescued dogs etc. I also do basic obedience for puppies. I can bathe and trim dogs as well. MOST of my dog experience has been with goldens and labs. But I do have two husky mixes who have grown on me. Rover is a great opportunity to get to know other breeds and care for them and also help other families out. I look forward to meeting you, and getting to know your Dog!

Gabby, is such a dog lover she is very good with her dogs she constantly looking out for their needs including their health. She takes the time to play and walk her dog and even makes their food daily; just like her own children she always watching out for their health and safety. Gabby took care of my dog for a month when I moved. When I returned I saw how happy my dog was with her family, I knew in my heart if I took her she wouldn't be as happy, and once I told Gabby that she didn't hesitate she said "if you feel she is happier with me then I will keep her". It broke my heart to give up my dog but I traveled so much. I would go visit Corona, she was so happy Gabby was her Mom, that I could never be to her.

Our yard is surrounded by cement wall and a wooden gate that we keep locked. Dogs Will be taken outside for potty breaks and playtime and the rest of the time they will be in the home. Dogs will have very minimal crate time, If at all. As of now Feb 2024 We have Opie. Who we grew to know and love because of this platform. His owner relocated out of state, given the circumstances he was welcomed to our family in march 2022. We also rescued Rocky a pitsky who is about two. And Otis the golden retriever who just turned one. All are crate trained and potty trained and get along with most dogs. Meet and greet is always suggested before I decide to care for your dog in my home. Opie is high energy, playful, may be a little rough at times but not harmful to dogs and extremely kind natured. Loves car rides and walks. Rocky is very verbal, and sometime quite the singer but mostly a very chill guy. Otis is a medium to high energy boy who loves to get into everything and enjoys water play and his walks

Are they current on vaccines? Do they swim? If they tend to be aggressive with children, people, or other dogs, do they rough play with other dogs, are they runners, do they like car rides, allergies etc, if they are potty trained, crate trained, their favorite things to do or favorite toys to play with, do they climb on furniture?
A typical day
We generally like to take small hikes, parks, swimming, walks around neighborhood, car rides, visit other family with smaller kids, etc etc etc etc etc

Availability
I work part time, while transitioning into dog training full time. Also have two older boys (no little ones) we tend to do things outdoors and the occasional errands and visit with family. Our dogs usually do some of these things with us but not always. So your dog would only need a crate if I need to leave. I crate my dogs when I leave as well. It’s a good way to keep everyone safe when unsupervised.
