(& Vic)Vet Asst, Student, DOGLOVER!

Pet care experience

I love animals and have been working in the pet care industry professionally for 10 years. I have had pets of my own all my life. I have a career diploma in veterinary assistance and have worked at various vet clinics and boarding facilities. I took a break from that to start on Rover because it works so much better with my school schedule. My pets mean the absolute entire world to me. I will treat your pets the way I would expect someone to treat mine which is with great care, dignity, and respect. I am happy to provide services for your pet such as baths, nail trims, and more. With my knowledge of animals coupled with my love for them, your pet will be in the best hands while you are away. I can't wait to meet you and your babies!

Gabby did a great job taking care of our senior dogs. She also kept us informed on how they were doing while we were gone. We will certainly use her again.

Gabby was super communicative kept me updated with pictures of my puppers and when she was coming over. Our dog tends to be scared when we leave but he was super comfortable around her. Would definitely hire again.

I've used quite a few sitters across the US and Gabby is by far the most detailed oriented. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cat and 2 dogs - one of which needed medication every day. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone that wants a quality animal sitter.

Information Gabby L. would like to know about your pet

I want to know all about your dog. Start a conversation with me so we can go over everything personally. Some things I typically like do know are... does your pet have any special needs I should know about? Any allergies? Any medications? How much do they eat and are they on any kind of special feeding schedule? Please let me know upfront if your pet is known to be a fence hopper or does not do well with other animals (I supervise 24/7, so this isn't a deal breaker, knowing just helps things go smoother). Then there is the fun stuff like what's their favorite toy/treat? What is their personality like? Is it okay if I let your dog sleep in my bed? I like to know because my dogs are allowed to but I know many dogs are not so I don't want to undo any training that might be in place at home. You don't have to answer all of these questions but these are just some good talking points to help me make sure your dog has a great stay. Breed preferences: I am sucker for schnauzers and border collies because that is what my babies are. However, it's what is on the inside that counts! I love all dogs; big, small, pure breeds and mixes alike.

A typical day

Every dog has a different personality and needs. For the younger dogs with more energy, I provide lots of play time, toys, and trips outside. For the older ones who just want to chill, I let them relax on my furniture in the cool air while giving them gentle attention.
