Pet care experience
My husband and I have been a team for 5 years. I grew up on a farm surrounded by pigs, chickens, cats and dogs so I am very comfortable around animals. I have also have been taking care of animals(cats, birds and dogs) for the past 5 years for family and friends. We currently have 2 dogs, G and Bandit. G was the first addition to our family. He was adopted by a roommate in 2013 from a humane society but she abandoned him and I took him in. Shortly after we moved to Jacksonville NC where we decided to expand the pack. As a result we adopted Bandit at the shelter before euthanization. He and G soon became inseparable. They are both spoiled and have been with us through 5 moves. We know what it is like to board our babies in a boarding camp and we want to provide a more personal care. We want the experience to be a more positive one, both for you and your fur baby. Gabby was a delight to work with. She was very tentative to our dogs needs. I believe our dog had a wonderful time playing with her dog.
Gabby was great with my boxer Honey. Honey is extremely timid, so its important that she is comfortable with her sitter; she loved Gabby. Although, I did not request them, Gabby sent several pictures each time Honey would visit. Gabby, remained in touch with me via text throughout my puppy's stay. To say the least, I am elated by the care and concern she gave Honey. Also, Gabby's response time is quick. Gabby will be my first choice of sitter each time!
Gabby was AMAZING!!!! The meet and greet was great because she asked a lot of detailed questions to get to know Alice and prepare for her stay. I also got an update every day with plenty of pictures. When I got back home with Alice she immediately went to sleep which is a sign she played hard. I have been looking for a Rover I would feel comfortable leaving Alice with again and I think I have found them! Best Rover sitter!!
We were very happy with our pet sitter, Gabby. I feel she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was comfortable and taken care of.

-Feeding habits: How much? and how often? -Are they sociable with other dogs? Do they get along with all breeds and sized? If not make us aware we will make preparations. -Are they territorial or have aggressive tendencies? For example with food, toys and treats or their bed. (We do have experience with aggressive dogs.) I'd like to accept multiple dogs but I want to keep everyone safe and happy. If your dog can not be around other dogs don't be shy let me know I have the space to arrange it. I understand every dog has their own personality and look forward to learning about yours.
A typical day
My husband and I have purchased a home with .6 acres and have a large fenced yard that your dog is sure to love. We also have a park close by where we can go on walks and if you permit it they also have a dog area where your pup can interact with other dogs. They will also enjoy car rides to Lowe’s and Petsmart when the ground is too hot for their paws. In the morning and evening they will enjoy walks in our neighborhood. Both my husband and I are home full time therefore there will be sufficient potty breaks and playtime. We will also keep you updated on their stay by sending multiple picture throughout the day and upon request. We will keep water readily available and we will respect to your feeding schedule. **If your dog is not usually allow on the furniture or bed and you would like us to keep it that way during their stay let us know. We understand consistency is important with training and we will help you keep that consistency going.
