My family has had multiple dogs my WHOLE life! I've never lived in a household without a four-legged family member. We've usually had medium/larger mixed breed dogs but I love all pups. I don't like to spoil dogs and I won't hesitate to tell them no if I see a behavior that I think is better not to encourage. I don't mind high energy dogs as long as they're familiar with basic commands (stay, sit). I do have experience with dogs that suffer from separation anxiety and/or are aggressive during storms. If I am going to be with your pal for more than a few days, it's really important that I feel comfortable with you to ask questions in case I feel his/her behavior is off. I am a college student, so my availabiltiy does vary day to day but I will always make sure he/she is well taken care of.
