Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life. I have owned lizards, guinea pigs, gerbils, a Jack Russell, a Cairn Terrier, and a Bassett Hound in the past, and I currently have a Labrador-Corgi mix, a Bassett Hound/Corgi/Pitbull mix, goats, ducks, a parrot, and a cat. Some specific breeds I have watched include Boxers, Boston Terriers, a Great Pyranees, Pitbulls, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and a German Pointer. I have also cared for many cats and often help my grandma with her tortoise and chihuahuas. I am not athletic so I'm not someone that goes on runs, but I love taking my dogs for walks even though neither of them are well behaved on a leash. Note: Please do not be put off by my low booking score!! I have multiple repeat clients that I have been working with consistently, but because of the rapport we built they decided to work with me as an individual rather than through Rover's platform.

Gabby has always been great with animals.We have always had at least 2 dogs around not to mention cats and birds.She is one of those people that when she goes to a party the first thing she does is find the pets and is good for the night.I can not think of a better person for the job.
Gabby has been an absolute blessing! She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy. She really showed great concern and care for my pets. She was very descriptive in her text messages to me while I was away. My cat and dog really like her. I don’t know what I would do without her!
Gabby is awesome and very accommodating. She was happy to do a meet and greet with our little guy in advance of his overnight stay, and all went great. She has a large amount of property, so our pup was able to run free or take a nice leashed walk as well. Gabby sent us pics throughout the day, which we really appreciated. She is a huge animal lover and it shows. Very happy we found her!
Gabby loves all animals and is very caring towards all of them. She's also trustworthy and very responsible with everything she does. You'll be very happy and at ease to know, she'll take great care of your loved one.

Now that my one dog is getting grumpier and less friendly in his own age and my goat herd is growing exponentially, I can no longer host animals in my own home. In my client's home, however, I am willing to spend as much or as little time as is needed of me (including overnights), so long as my schedule allows it.

For smaller animals, please let me know if your pet cannot or does not like to be held, picked up, and/or carried. It would also be helpful to know if if there are any places in the house where the pet isn't allowed (including outdoors).
A typical day
I'm not the sporty type, so my ideal way to spend time with my clients' pets is by curling up together while I do homework or read a book. Of course I can also handle a game of fetch, though!

Availability
For the month of August, my schedule is wide open so I can dedicate as much time as possible to pet sitting. Please note that I have accepted a temporary job in France and will be moving there sometime in late September, so I cannot accept any bookings from that point until the contract ends in May.
