I'm your puppy's new BFF!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Gabby, and I am your dog's new BFF! I have loved little furry ones since I can remember. My first pet was a sweet little black lab named Happy. Since then I have had the privilege of calling many dogs (and cats!) mine. My family dog Beau (a kind, fun loving Golden Retriever) recently passed away this year at the age of 17. I helped care for him and pet sit him for most of his life, well into his older years when standing up and stairs were hard for him. My time spent with Beau throughout his life, taught me how important a caring and loving relationship with your dog is. It is important to form bonds with the pets we car for through affection and understanding. I have experience caring for multiple dogs together as well! For three years I I worked as a nanny for a small family with 1 child and 4 dogs (2 pugs and 2 terrier mixes). I was able to balance multiple feeding schedules, walks, and kennel time for some. I incredibly enjoyed the dynamic of having so many dogs together at once. We always had so much fun on walks and during play time. I walk multiple dogs for several families as well, including a small chihuahua who is 15 years old and requires special care, as well as a family with two dachshunds (one with health issues and special needs) and a terrier. I regularly walk, feed, and often watch these dogs over night. I have experience talking pets on vet visits, as well as adminitering medications at home. I live uptown (NOLA), which means BEAUTIFUL walks! I love walking through Audubon park's wonderful landscape, where you can literally walk a different path every time you go! I enjoy walking down the scenic streets of my neighborhood as well. I think it is important to take dogs on walks that are not only engaging, but comfortable and safe as well. I drive an SUV with a large back seat and plenty of room for any size dog. I am available most week day evenings/nights and most weekends. I am extremely flexible with my schedule, and ready to work with yours to find something that works for both of us! I live in a house that does not allow pets, so boarding is unfortunately not possible, but I am available for house sitting. In conclusion, I LOVE dogs, cats, really all animals for that matter! I am energetic, fun loving, caring, and compassionate. I love play time and walks outside, and I will take the task of caring for your pets as seriously as it deserves. Their safety, happiness and health is my number one priority. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I hope you choose me to be your pet's new BFF!

Outstanding! Will definitely use Gabby again! Thank you so much!
Great sitter! Kept me updated on how my dog was doing and was very thorough. When I came home, my dog was in good spirits. Definitely going to work with her again! Thanks Gabby!!
Gabby did a great job with my special need mini dachshund Arnie. 5 STARS!!! I highly recommend Gabby for dog sitting, dog walking, or house sitting. Gabby stayed in my home for 3 days and took great care of my dog Arnie and my home! I felt comfortable with her from the start, she proved to be diligent at following instructions and providing feedback. Feel comfortable having Gabby take care of your loved pets and your home. I look forward to having her watch the house and Arnie again!!! Great job Gabby! Keep up the good work! Arnie will be so excited to see you again soon :)
Gabby was great. She arrived on time and my little dog loved her. I felt very secure in leaving my little 7lb maltese with her. I was not disappointed.
