ALL PETS WELCOME

Pet care experience

I have experience caring for small dogs like chihuahuas to large dogs like saint bernard's. I have completed dog obedience courses and I'm comfortable sitting friendly pets. I have small children so aggressive dogs are not a good match. I can watch over your pet, feed, walk and bathe your pet. See fees for services. 2 kids at home who are supper comfortable with pets of all kinds (see pictures). Toby is our Belgian Malinois mix medium sized dog that is supper friendly and playful. Our short hair cat Jesse likes to watch visitors from very far. Both are neutered/spayed and fully vaccinated so your pets are safe. Toby has his dog flue vaccine too. We hope you choose us to take care of your pet. I'm available Tuesdays, Fridays and weekends for drop-offs and pick-ups. For Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, drop offs/pick up need to be 7pm onward. I can take last minute appointments if I'm available and if there's space. Be mindful when canceling. Try to schedule/cancel only if you are 95% sure that you need/don't need my services. It helps determine accuracy in availability. Please also note that your drop-off/pick up ranges should be no more than an hour and a half (example: drop off 5pm-6:30 pm). In regards to early pick-up, note that Rover does charge an early pick-up fee and I would rather we stick to the schedule as well. Any questions please send me a message. Thank you 🐶. Your large dogs will enjoy a large yard with artificial turf. Large dogs will need to sleep outside except on rare occasions (example: 4th of July). Small dogs will also enjoy the outdoors but will sleep inside the house. For them to sleep freely in-house they must be potty trained and not react to cats. Otherwise they can still sleep indoors but you will need to bring a crate. We have a gated area for small breeds if we find that they don't do well with the other guests. We can only accept dogs that are friendly with people and other breeds; and friendly towards cats because we may have a variety of guests at one time. I am no longer taking requests to only sit singly your pet. There's never really a time when I'm not already booked and we prefer to sit a variety of dogs. Our cat and dog are fixed and fully vaccinated. Rabies vaccine needs to be up to date. Puppies need to be vaccinated; at least the first set. We also treat our pets with flea control medications and flea/tick collars. Its HIGHLY recommended your pet get at least the topical treatment and/or repellent collar so they are safe during their visit. Premises are kept clean and fresh. For extended stays, consider if you will want baths as well. Pets here do play A LOT and after 1-2 weeks any pet starts to smell funky :-) See fees or we can discuss. If you need anything clarified please ask before confirming your booking.

I cannot express enough gratitude for Frida's exceptional care of my beloved dog, Happy, during a week-long absence. From the moment I entrusted her with Happy, I knew he was in capable and loving hands. Frida's attention to detail, genuine love for animals, and dedication to providing a safe and nurturing environment truly set her apart. Throughout the week, she kept me updated with photos and messages, easing any worries I had about leaving Happy behind. I returned to a happy and healthy pup, which is a testament to Frida's commitment to her responsibilities. I wholeheartedly recommend Frida to anyone in need of a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. Thank you, Frida, for your outstanding service!"

Frida was the first dogsitter I booked in and out of this app and couldn't be any happier with her. I actually booked her twice during my two-week stay in South Bay. She was very accommodating of me and especially of my baby Jefferson. Her backyard was transformed into a dog playground. She kept sending me photo and video updates of my baby to assure me that he was fine.

There is a fenced back yard and a small gated area for pets that need less attention from other dogs. Large and medium sized pets sleep outside under a large covered porch with the company of my Belgian Malinois mix. Cats and Small to x-small dogs and puppies sleep indoors. If fully potty trained and pad traine, then no crate is necessary. But if not potty/pad trained please bring a crate or bring waist band pads for male dogs or diaper for females. Bring their food and food bowl, we provide the water bowls. As for cats, just bring food and food bowl. If your cat is staying for 2 or more weeks, bring a small box of Fresh Step Extended litter please.

Information Frida L. would like to know about your pet

It's important to inform us about your pet's special behavior or care needs so that everyone has a safe and comfortable experience. Let us know in advance and we can let you know if we can work with your pet's needs. Generally we only accept pets that can get along regardless of breed and size. It's great when they do but stressful on me and the other guests when one doesn't. You know your pet so you are the best judge. If your per needs to be exposed to other dogs but is not a bitter or fighter, they can still stay with us. IF YOUR PET HAS DIARRHEA or normally poops like diarrhea, so sorry but they CANNOT STAY WITH US. I have artificial turf and an area with rocks that gets ruined with diarrhea. IF YOUR PET HAS SEIZURES OR REQUIRES MEDICATION OUTSIDE OF THE LISTED FEEDING TIMES please disclose this prior to booking and definitely prior to drop off. If your pet is ill, you must disclose it in your booking request. Thanks ??.

A typical day

Your pets will have meal times (2x around 6-7 am and pm), play times, and relax times. After you see the yard, you let me know if you still want walks. See fees if you would like to add baths. Its suggested that you buy a flea collar (for one day stay) or a topical/medication (for extended stays). Our pet uses the once a month pill and wears a flea+tick repellant collar. The more repellants the better! Please check that nails are trimmed enough to avoid injury to humans or other pets. If you can't trim them let me know.
