I have enjoyed caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, horses, turtles and birds. I grew up with animals around me, and have always admired how well they communicate without words. I am attuned to their signals and anticipate their needs. I love to take walks in every kind of weather, I love to play fetch, and I give excellent scritches and pettings. My schedule is flexible and I am open to meeting all sorts of animal friends. I start every day by feeding and brushing our cat, and his appreciative purrs give me major serotonin. I like to say hello to the dogs and cats I see on my neighborhood walks, and I make friends everywhere I go, both animals and people. I have a secure environment in my home with locking screen doors and pet gates within the space to keep everyone safe and secure. I do a safety check before hosting any guests to make sure the space is pet safe, to make sure things that should not be eaten are safely put away. I exercise caution around doors to make sure no one slips outside, and I am confident with my end of a leash, using gentle yet firm methods to make sure we both stay safe.
