Pet care experience
Vet Assistant Professional pet lover Vet tech student I graduated Skidmore with a bachleors in Psychology. I've been working in town for three years with adults with developmental disabilities as well which has taught me flexibility, medication administration, and how to get along with any type of person. This has translated well to working with animals, giving me skills in nonverbal communication, med experience, and handling intense situations. I have one cat and one tiny gremlin dog, but previously I've given a home to hospice care cats who needed a lot of medical attention. This experience at my own home and at the vet makes me comfortable with special needs animals. My first job was pet sitting and I haven't stopped since, I care deeply about animals and promise to give your pet the same amount love and care as my own.

Fredrick has always, always loved animals. He's helped injured crows, birds, mice that he's found hurt or sick. Right now, he's taking care of two blind cats, orphaned when a colleague became too ill to take care of them. He picked our cat, and what a pick! The best cat ever. He's always been willing to provide vacation care for the cats and dogs of folks in town here, who have to be away for a time. He works for a veterinary hospital.
Fredrick is an animal lover and a responsible and loving parent to his own pets, which include elderly and ill cats. He is reliable, responsible, and sure to provide for any animals in his care.
Freddie is a caring, dependable, and patient person. He is passionate about animals and is a responsible and responsive worker. My dog was immediately comfortable and at ease with Freddie when they met!
Fredrick is such a caring and trustworthy person! One of my cats is older and has special needs, so I was very worried about leaving him alone while I went on vacation. I was also concerned about their separation anxiety. Rest assured, Fredrick sent me videos of them while I was away - they were totally chilled and enjoying his company! I came home to happy and healthy fur babies. Will definitely ask Fredrick for help again!

With my experience caring for animals in a multitude of environments, I always put safety first. Under my care your pets will not only be loved on, but I will also do everything I can to keep them happy and healthy. Working at a Veterinary clinic means I have my own experience in regards to your furry friends health, as well as quick access to other professionals and could get your pet looked at by a doctor ASAP if needed.

Temperament, size, age, any special needs/allergies, anything you don't want the animal to have (like a specific treat), if they are comfortable around other dogs and new people, and anything else you find important. I'm a short person but I can handle dogs of any size.
A typical day
I love the woods and walking on trails. I do also enjoy running so if that's the type of energy your dog has I'm happy to go on a jog. I'm flexible to learn your favorite walking route as well. In my studies in psychology I spent independent research time on animal behavior and training and love working on tricks and good habits with each animal. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise.

Availability
I work full time at a Veterinary clinic, but outside of 7-4 M-F I'm all yours! Some days I am able to get out for early afternoon availability. I am also happy to come medicate your pet with you there if that is something you struggle with!
