Registered Veterinary Technician
Pet care experience
I am an outgoing, friendly, trustworthy, and compassionate person that has had a love for all animals my entire life. I have a nonthreatening approach that is helpful for anxious or nervous dogs. As a registered veterinary technician with almost 10 years of clinical experience in general care and emergency medicine, I can offer peace of mind that you pet will be cared for by a medical professional that loves and cares for her patients as if they were my own. I can admisinter medications and treatments including insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I can properly and safely care for special needs pets undergoing treatment for illness and injury. I know what to look for if an animal is potentially ill or injured and will be able to notify you if there happens to be a case where your pet needs to be examined by a veterinarian. My services are not limited to dogs. I am willing to care for cats and have experience caring for exotic animals including monkeys, kangaroos, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, rabbits and rats. If needed, I can provide a list of professional references. My active vet tech license can be verified on the Indiana Professional Licensing website.
Reviews
Frannie is awesome! I wanted our pups to start being walked but have a Lab that is timid around new people so she scheduled a time to do a meet and greet with them and won our pup over in no time! The next time she came to the house our Lab didn't even bark and greeted her with a wagging tail! Being new to the area, I'm thankful we were able to find a fellow dog lover that was willing to take the time with our pups to make them (and us) feel comfortable.
Frannie did a wonderful job watching two of our pups while we were away! She cares a lot about how they're doing and communicated really well with us. She also sent us lots of pictures and videos which we loved. We hope to use her again in the future.
We cannot say enough about Frannie. My wife and I had to leave town unexpectedly due to a loss in the family. We had to leave our sick pup, Lilo behind and in the care of Frannie. She was incredibly professional and compassionate, keeping in close contact with me and our vet while we were gone. She provide love and care to Lilo while we were gone, administering medications and bringing him to our vet. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Lilo when we returned home. Frannie was there with us assisting our vet and providing love and support. Thank you for making a stressful and heartbreaking situation bearable, Frannie. You were Lilo’s guardian angel
This was our first Rover experience, and it was fantastic. I don't know how the dogs would have been without Frannie. They lived her from the minute she came to our house to do a meet and greet. And we have a selective dog that can be very picky over who cones in. Frannie keep in great contact, and noticed things that I had even missed, one dog had a UTI starting. She took care of everything, sent me videos of the pups playing, and loved them like her own. I would use Frannie again and don't hesitate to call her for your next sitter need.

Information Frannie N. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any diet restrictions to consider when giving treats? How does your dog react when they see or are in proximity to another animal? I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Border Collie Mix so I love herding breeds but enjoy most dogs as long as they are friendly. I also have a soft spot for Boxers and Pitbulls.
A typical day
I would probably walk around the neighborhood unless there was a dog park or area for off leash activities. When possible, I’d like to throw a ball or frisbee if that is something the dog enjoys.
