Hi there! I am a licensed veterinary technician and a sub permitted wildlife rehabilitator with 10+ years experience and a lot of love to give to your furry friends. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, chickens, horses, goats, lizards, rodents & rabbits. I am currently employed by a local veterinarian. Previously I worked in Ohio at a mixed & exotic animal practice & did doggie daycare or in home overnights for several years. I graduated college with an animal science & veterinary technology degree in 2010 but worked with various groomers & veterinary hospitals before & through my schooling. I own a farm in Jacksonville where I care for 70+ chickens, 2 small dogs, 1 big dog, a couple cats, lots chickens & goats and occasionally wildlife in my animal hospital in a separated room of my house . In the past I've owned and cared for horses, goats & reptiles. I enjoy working with all animals & am not limited to ONLY dogs & cats. I am trained in caring for the young & old, so medicating animals is not a problem. Since I work at a local veterinary clinic it will be easy for me to handle any emergency situations that might arise during your pets stay with me. I am open to care any type of animal and look forward to meeting you and them! **Please remember to bring your pets' food & crates if they use them for sleep I work during the day at a vet clinic. I generally get up around 5am for feeding and playtime outside. During the day I have a doggy door for everyone to go in & out as they please. I get home a little after 5:30 for feeding and more play time. Most pets prefer to sleep inside but if they want to go outside they can. Because of my work schedule drop off and pick ups will need to be before 6:45am and after 5:30pm I have a fenced in back yard and a doggy door for easy in & outs. I use baby gates inside as needed for separate feedings. My pets are super friendly and get along with everyone!
