Pet care experience
I am a Registered Nurse with many years (39) of experience and also former law enforcement. I am now retired. I am a responsible, reliable and trustworthy, non-smoker. I am a pet parent - six Chihuahua and Chihuahua-mix dogs - and so I know how to care for your animals. Interacting with your pets will be a privilege and a joy, not a chore. I am of a calm, resourceful and reliable disposition and believe that in entrusting your home/pet to me you will be able to travel or work with complete peace of mind knowing your dogs are getting the special care and attention they need and are safe. I am a Registered Nurse with over 39 years of critical care and other experience. Believe it or not the same observation skills we use for our human patients can alert us to when our animal babies are not up to par or just need a little extra attention. I have 6 Chihuahuas and Chihuahua-mix babies of my own and 3 of them were rescued from being euthanized. Three of them are special needs dogs, two of which due to thyroid problems. It is important to me that our family members are cared for the way we care for them .... and I know that is important to you as well. Why I love dog sitting I have been blessed with a best friend since 1965 when I talked my parents into my first, a beautiful Alaskan Malamute mix. I have welcomed dog's into my home ever since. I have experienced the joy and companionship, laughter and loyalty they have to offer ever since. A part of sharing life with them has inevitably included the heartbreak and loss of letting them go. And that has been because of cancer and other health problems, old age and, yes even theft. At the end of the day I would never have chosen to not spend the time we had together with any of them. I am experienced administering medications. I have three of my own to whom I have to administer thyroid medications twice daily. In the past I have given many medications to my babies for various medical issues ranging from simple allergies, stomach upsets and infections to more serious conditions such as lymphoma. All of my own are now over 10 years old and along with the age has come decreases in hearing and sight. The oldest is now dealing with some renal issues and some dementia. But then I have been a Registered Nurse in critical care for humans for 39 years. Why wouldn't I do the same for my best friends?

Frank did an excellent job taking care of my pets. I have not left my pets often do I am very cautious about them. Frank treated them with care as if his own, very responsive to all of my questions and texts. I feel confident thst I can leave them with him in the future when available.
My husband and I took a few days for vacation and Frank watched our 5 dogs at our house while we were gone. He is amazing. We received updates and pictures about how our dogs were doing throughout each day we were gone. Frank is the best dog sitter ever! Very reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend him and will definitely have him watch our dogs again. Frank gave us peace of mind and that is priceless.
Frank was fantastic and took such good care of our home and our two dogs while we were away! He administered medicine to one of our dogs 4 times a day. We were so hesitant to go off and leave our dogs for so long, but they were in fine hands with Frank and were so happy when we returned. Frank stayed at our house the whole time and when we returned, it was spotless. I highly recommend Frank to be your sitter!

Likewise, what fears do they have and what dislikes and sources of discomfort are specific for them? If they are "picky" eaters I want to know how to encourage them to get the nourishment they need.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog Generally I can get an idea of when they are satisfied ... tummies full, pottying accomplished, exercise and playtime needs met. The more time I have to get to know them, the more attuned to this I become. I will spend the time necessary to make them happy. Extra house-sitting services Absolutely!
